Before any session begins, we have a short introductory conversation — by phone or in person — to understand the household situation. What types of documents are involved? How have things been stored until now? Is there an event prompting the work, such as a property transfer or a bereavement? Are multiple family members involved?
From that conversation, we recommend the service that makes most sense for your situation and provide a written outline of what the engagement will involve. Nothing begins until you're comfortable with the scope and the approach. For longer engagements, we work in defined stages so that progress is visible and the family remains in control throughout.
